With the success of the recent SatoshiChain launch and airdrop proving the stability and scalability of the SatoshiChain network, the SatoshiChain team is now proud to announce that we are opening up a few more validator node spots to members of the community.

Validators are a critical part of blockchain infrastructure. A validator is an entity who participates directly in SatoshiChain network consensus by authenticating transactions, creating new blocks on the chain and monitoring for malicious activity. Validators support the SatoshiChain protocol first-hand, and earn a share of on-chain transaction fees for doing so.

Validators are required to purchase and stake 250,000 SatoshiChain Governance Tokens ($SC) to operate a validator node. Currently, SatoshiChain validator nodes are averaging a 5.6% APR, with that figure expected to increase significantly as on-chain activity increases.

These validator spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis so if you want to apply to be a SatoshiChain validator, fill out this form.

More announcements will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
